Einstein is pissed and so am I

This post is over a month overdue. Translation...it's been sitting in my "draft" folder since December 14th. As a result I've had to go back and make a few adjustments.

On December 12, 2007 one of the best new shows on TV was cancelled. It wasn't the Bionic Woman, which for all it's hype really ended up being a let down. It wasn't Cane or Pushing Daisies, although its only a matter of time. Not Aliens In America, or Dirty Money. The BASTARDS ARE CANCELLING JOURNEYMAN!
Theorizing that man could time travel within his own lifetime Dr. Sam Beckett stepped into the Quantum Leap Accelerator and vanished.
The Show stars Kevin Kidd of Rome fame and brings back all the good things about the time traveling accidental hero. It's a revamped Quantum Leap except this time the hero isn't a 5 degree carrying scientist, with an entire team helping him out. He's a normal guy who's friends and family believe is losing his mind because he keeps disappearing or not missing commitments. His job is in trouble now, his marriage on the rocks, and his cop brother thinks he should be committed. Meanwhile Dan (Kidd) continues to time travel and much like Quantum Leap he can't control the when or the where.
It makes no sense whatsoever. It would take much too long to explain all the wonderful things about this show so let me sum up its success by stating one very simple fact. It has been nominated for "Best New Show" in the People's Choice Awards. You remember the People don't you? We're those numbers you actually see when you're scanning the ratings charts. We're the ones you're allegedly airing these shows for.
I don't ask much of you folks out there but if you have an affinity for this show I implore you to find http://www.savejourneyman.net/ and do your part.
Full episodes are available online at NBC and for those of you that love this show as much as I do here's a taste of this marvelous morsel...
